Commonly used fishing net classifications are: dragnets, driftnets, sticky nets, blood nets.

1. Dragnet

Dragnet is a large net, the mesh is about tens of feet or hundreds of feet long, with a falling and floating surface. Each end of the line is long. 2. Drift net

The drift net, also known as the "tie-net", is composed of mesh pieces and mangzi. Mangzi is a thin bamboo pole with a small red and green flag tied on it as a symbol and a large buoy underneath. When fishermen go out to sea, they generally use a single-tented "foot" boat to carry many nets and mangzi, and when fishing, they need to next mangzi, and then the next one or several nets, so that each mango is connected to the net, and this net has floating, falling and falling. After casting the net, tie it to the ship. The mesh and mangzi form a net wall in the sea, and the fish swim here, often stuck in the net, unable to advance or retreat.

3. Sticky net

Inconspicuous mesh. Fish and shrimp hit the mesh, they are not allowed to enter and exit, and they are "glued" to the net. Such nets are mostly placed in shallow seas and trenches. In order to improve their livelihood in winter, some fishermen often set up sticky nets in the wild fields to catch birds and wild birds for food. 4. Blood web

Blood net, not a fishing gear name, refers to a fisherman's custom, that is, soaking freshly woven fishing nets or using old nets for a year in pig's blood, and then putting the soaked nets into a large pot to steam. In this way, the nets are both strong and durable and can be used to attract fish into the nets (because nets soaked in pig's blood are resistant to seawater erosion, and the smell of blood left in the nets is a "bait" for fish and shrimp). The blood net is out of the pot, which is a solemn moment for the fishermen. When going out of the net, you should beat the gong and drum while shouting the trumpet of joy song: "One net, two boats", "smooth wind" and so on. At this time, the most jealous woman approached. In the old days, fishing nets were mainly woven by fisher women. The shuttle is the main tool for weaving nets, it is made of bamboo sheets with a small hole in the thread.
